Irmak provides legal support to individuals and businesses both in Türkiye and abroad. Her expertise ranges from insurance law to capital markets and corporate law; employment law, real estate law, business/commercial law, enforcement, data protection and personal data laws.
In her practice, she drafts legal documents, offers advice on litigation, prepares legal opinions and commercial contracts, and offers assistance in capital market transactions such as IPO procedures. She provides litigation support to Turkey's leading insurance company and also advises domestic and international clients in a wide range of legal matters.
Prior to becoming a member of Kayum Demir Attorney Partnership, she worked for the world’s largest Japanese bank in its Turkey branch as a Compliance Officer. In that job, she managed internal control and compliance processes, was responsible for the anti-money laundering process of the company, and represented the Compliance/Internal Control department in internal and external meetings.
She has experience in litigation and dealing with cross-border legal cases in different industries.
